Dude! Way to go!

Great audio, NICE animation with the paralax techniques. Beautiful action! You have now become one of the elite within todays newgrounds users. And for that last guy crying about the lawsuit:

Your eskimo bob had no copyright; generated no revenue; was hosted on Newgrounds which subjects anything ANYBODY creates to criticism and parody; and overall was a SHITTY piece of flash that deserved to be included with all of the other stick figure CRAP! I DARE you to seek legal action, just to see how hard the judge would laugh in your face.

Nice job Ben, let's see some new stuff.

You're almost there...

You've got the idea as far as laying out a compelling story, but you just have to work on those graphics.

I'll give you enough for the 3d.

Under the overall simplicity, I still see a stick figure movie that has no point, limited animation, and poor audio. Next time, try using somehting else other than a traced piece of CGI animation to justify your cause.

fuck you

It pretty good, a little rough cut.

Just got sent here form the front page. Yeah, I've seen this before. The animation needs some work, but all in all, the audio soundtrack was well composed, with an interesting twist to the plot. A great amount of effort was put into this, something I think MANY of Newgrounds users and content submitters should reflect upon. Nice job, Eric. Let's see some more stuff.

Gee, now there are BITMAPED stickmen....

A looped bitmap, a color cycling background, and one piece of music that hikes up the file size by 650k. Hmmm... I think they've sunk to a new low. Do us all a favor and NEVER submit anything again.

Chump!

you wanna see a movie go to the theater.im really working on a big project this was just a little fun thing i did a few weeks ago and never got around to posting and was really just a preloader. so dont get all butt hurt about it.enjoy.feel for the flavor of funk.

You see! It's possible, people!

Even this guy lacks a bit in the artistic area, he still manages to pull through with a SWEET piece of flash. Great job, Ben. Keep them coming.

Shows promise....

You've got an interesting eye for cinematography, just work on drawing ability and the animation. How old are you?

Tom has a BIG point...

Bad portal submissions happen, so stop whining. If a portal animation sucks, it'll just get booted off the site like all the rest. Instead of wasting the time writing a complaint, why don't you spend it storyboarding or animationg a piece of content worthy of a high score.

And on another note, take the time to learn more about the fine art of finessing your flash. Tom made a great point in saying that animations should be as small as possible, and since flash is a vector based animation program, it shouldn't be difficult to cut your file sizes down by a couple 100k.

-OPTIMIZE your art, it will only save space and lower the CPU hit for every frame. Meaning there will be fewer skipped frames.

-Keep your MP3 compression to 24 Kbps or lower. The main reason why file sizes are so big is due mostly to audio. Choose music loops as opposed to fully orchestrated soundtracks, edit out any dead sound in your sound effects.

-Keep tweening to a minimum if you can. Learn the art of keyframed animation for character movement.

Keep on, keepin' on. I've seen some great work come out of the public. Let's keep it going strong.
